QuietMind respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the QuietMind app.

1. Overview

QuietMind:

• Does not require account registration

• Does not collect email addresses

• Does not directly collect payment information

• Does not sell personal data

Users are identified only by an anonymous RevenueCat ID or similar anonymous identifiers.

2. Information Collected

A. Information Stored Locally (On Your Device)

The following data is stored only on your device using iOS storage systems:

• Name

• Age group

• Gender

• Motivations

• Goals

• Mind state selections

• Contributing factors

• Liked quotes

• Selected categories

• Streak data

• Notification preferences

• Premium status

• Tutorial completion state

This data is not transmitted to QuietMind servers and is not publicly accessible.

B. Information Collected Remotely

QuietMind collects limited analytics data to understand app usage and improve the experience. This may include:

• App installs and app launches

• Onboarding progress and tutorial completion

• Step completion behavior

• Paywall views and interactions

• Trial starts and subscription conversions

• Premium purchases

• Notification preference selections

• Skipped steps

• User-submitted feedback (ratings, categories, optional text)

This data is associated with an anonymous identifier (such as a RevenueCat ID or device-level identifier) and is not directly linked to your real-world identity.

C. Subscription Data

Subscriptions are handled by Apple and RevenueCat.

QuietMind does not store:

• Credit card numbers

• Billing addresses

• Apple ID information

3. Use of Data

QuietMind uses collected data to:

• Provide and maintain app functionality

• Improve onboarding and user experience

• Understand feature usage and engagement

• Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns

• Support subscription functionality

4. Third-Party Services

QuietMind integrates with the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat (subscription management)

• Supabase (analytics & feedback storage)

• TikTok Events SDK (analytics and advertising attribution)

• Apple Push Notification Service (APNs)

• Apple WidgetKit

• Lottie by Airbnb (animations)

These services may process limited data according to their own privacy policies.

5. Advertising and Tracking

QuietMind may share certain usage data with third-party partners, such as TikTok, for:

• Advertising attribution

• Measuring campaign performance

This may involve the use of device identifiers and similar technologies.

On iOS, tracking is only performed if you grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.

You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device settings.

6. Data Minimization and Sensitive Information

QuietMind is designed to support mental well-being.

• Personal reflections, mind states, and similar inputs remain stored locally on your device

• QuietMind does not transmit sensitive mental health data to third-party services such as TikTok

7. Notifications

If you enable notifications:

• QuietMind sends reminders through Apple Push Notification Service

• Notification preferences are stored locally

• You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings

8. Data Retention

• Local data remains on your device unless you delete the app

• Remote analytics data is retained only as long as necessary to improve the app and measure performance

9. Children’s Privacy

QuietMind is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

10. Your Rights (EU / GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you may have the right to:

• Request access to data associated with your anonymous identifier

• Request deletion of submitted feedback or analytics data

• Request information about how your data is processed

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect stored data. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
